This collection consists of a 1890 map of City of Davenport and Rock Island Arsensal.
Volume contains newspaper clippings relating to Davenport politics and the activities of Davenport's senators and congressmen from 1900-1905, particularly Congressman Joe Lane. No citations or dates in scrapbook. Pages brittle but clippings securely glued down. Limited handwritten notes.
This collection contains one handwritten letter addressed "Dear Sir" signed "James Hall" written in Davenport, Iowa on August 23, 1894. The letter is written on the recto and verso sides.
This framed color 1902 topographical map of Scott County, Iowa includes all of the townships in the county and indicates the location of schools, cemeteries, churches, railroads, etc.
This 8x10" sepia toned group photograph by the Eckerman Studio celebrates the June 1923 graduating class of Sudlow Intermediate School. It is mounted on an 11x13" matte that has names of all class members handwritten on the back. Students are posed outdoors in front of a building, likely the school.

This collection consists of an abstract of title for West half of lot 11 and all of lot 12 in block 11 Mitchell's 3rd Addition to City of Davenport, Scott County, Iowa. It is in Section 26 and 27 of Township 78 Range 3E. The abstract includes the 1840 original entry up to and including November 2, 1916 entry for Dr. C. L. Barewald. It is continued to 1988. The address is 617-618 Taylor Street (617-618 Taylor St.).

About the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center:
The Special Collections Department of the Davenport Public Library was established in 1982. In November of 1999, the newly renovated department opened to better serve its community and was renamed the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center. The Center acquires, arranges, describes, preserves, and makes available local history and genealogical materials concentrating on those pertaining to Davenport, Scott County, and Eastern Iowa.
